A small notebook boutique in München
HuntingtonMod GmbH is a two-person publishing house on the Maximilianstraße. We build small personal-utility apps that feel like paper notebooks, and we sell them from a single boutique to European users who happen to be Huntington Online customers.
HuntingtonMod was registered at the Amtsgericht München under HRB 285 741 in the spring of 2024. The idea was simple: publish a small notebook-style bundle of personal-utility apps for people who already have their money life sorted at a bank, and who just want a calm, hand-fed set of writing tools to live alongside it.
We chose the trading name HuntingtonMod because a large number of our earliest European customers were expatriates and returnees who used Huntington Online for their US accounts and wanted a matched European workspace for personal notes. The name is descriptive — nothing here is a bank product, nothing is connected to Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, Huntington National Bank, or Huntington Investment Company.
Our office is at Maximilianstraße 34, on the fourth floor, above a stationery shop that supplies our A5 notebook prints. The team is Andrea Weiss (Geschäftsführer), a small design partner in Berlin and a Hamburg-based data-protection officer. Everything we ship is made in the EU, hosted in Frankfurt and Munich, and paid for in euros by SEPA transfer.
What we build
Ten apps, four categories — Personal Journals, Money & Budget, Habits & Mood, Reading & Growth. All of them are small, single-purpose, opinionated, and shaped like an index card. None of them read your bank statements, none connect to your card, none aggregate your finances. Every number you see is a number you typed in yourself.
What we do not build
We do not build banking software. We do not build brokerage software. We do not build investment or wealth-management software. We do not build anything that competes with, imitates or interoperates with Huntington Bancshares Incorporated, Huntington National Bank, or Huntington Investment Company. HuntingtonMod GmbH offers services exclusively to users outside the United States.
